Maintenance Tips

  • When stainless steel cutlery comes in contact with acidic foods (eg vinegar, mustard, lemon, eggs, mayonnaise), they should be washed immediately to prevent rusting.
  • They are suitable to wash in the dishwasher, placing all the knives together, with the handle facing down to avoid them bumping together, something that can cause them scratches. If you wash them by hand, use a sponge and not a wire, as it may affect their shine.
  • Do not wash silver and stainless steel cutlery simultaneously in the dishwasher, as it causes an electrochemical reaction between the metals that can discolor (yellow) them. Immediately after washing, wipe your cutlery with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Do not store them in damp places and do not leave them submerged or wet. Moisture causes stains. Stainless cutlery should not come in contact with hot surfaces as some discoloration may occur.
  • Follow the same tips on cutlery with plastic handles.
